Hunters - Armor

Armor is the most powerful form a Hunter can obtain. As Humans, Hunters are unable to completely control their weapons, as they are composed of Soul Residue. An "overdose" of the Soul Residue would result in their body being taken over and consumed by the power. However, Armor utilized this very process. Due to the potency of a weapon's Soul Residue, it must be sealed before it is returned to the body, but the "training" for Armor requires that the weapon be sealed fully-powered. This causes the potency of the Soul Residue to overtake the body, forcing the Hunter's conscious into their subconscious. During this process, their bodies are motionless and void of any signs of life. While in their subconscious, the Hunters are confronted by the Monster their weapon was taken from, its body returned to it.

For the application process, you will RP in a topic against your Inner Monster. You will not have access to your weapon (since you're technically fighting it), so will instead have to rely on your own natural abilities. Of course, its ridiculous to make a normal Human fight a Monster (which, at this point, has gained the abilities of logical thinking and speech), so the terrain is all yours. Seeing as it is your mind, it only makes sense. The original confrontation will begin in a void area, which will become whatever terrain you choose. Remember, however, that once the area is created, you're stuck with it. A mod or admin will approve the requested terrain along with the request, so no armories (there are no guns in this time period) and no "natives" to run to for help.

From this topic, you will have two paths available to you. If you manage to defeat your Monster, you will be granted the awesome power of Armor. You will have complete dominance of your weapon, as well as the power to create your own Soul Residue. In essence, Armor is the Human-equivalent of a Reaper's or Conquista's Monster Form. It will increase your weapon's abilities dramatically, as well as expand them. Just remember to keep with the motif of your weapon, and fill out the following form:

Once a Mod or Admin gives you the go-ahead for the training, you are free to make the topic, preferably somewhere in the Kabuto Academy area, as that is where your body will be left. It must be at least 10 posts, and you are allowed 1 post per day. Dropping the topic will mean that you aren't commited to the ability and the RPing required to gain it. When it is completed, post the link in your request topic and a Mod/Admin will review it. We will base our judgement on whether or not you god-modded, if your grammar and RP-skills are up to par witht he standards for the ability, and how you actually RP'ed. Regardless of whether you "win" or not, we may not allow you access to the ability. However, if you do obtain it, fill out the following form:

If you fail, for whatever reason, your body and soul will become forfeit to the Soul Residue that composed your weapon. Thats not to say that your character will die and you'll have to start a new one, but you, in essence, will no longer exist. Your character will become something known as an "Ancient Monster", which is the result of your weapon - the Monster - overtaking your body. Essentially, you will become a Reaper in a permenant Monster form. Your personality and mindset will change accordingly. We will understand if you don't want your character "defaced" by such a transformation, and choose to have them die in the achieval process, but we don't encourage it. We don't want to hear your complaining, either, since you requested for the training by your own will. If you become an Ancient Monster, a Mod will oversee the edit of your Application.

Due to the extensive process this training and request entails, strict regulations will be placed on it. You must have been a member for at least 2 months before undertaking this process, must be on par with the power of a Senior Student, and, of course, must be an active RPing member. No joining, applying for Senior Student, then sitting around for 2 months until you can apply for Armor.
